Synopsis
Headstrong and impulsive Kerri seems to have little in common with Beth, a thoughtful bookworm who is far more comfortable keeping to herself. But when the two girls meet at a party, their awkward conversation reveals an unexpected connection. They arrange to spend time together alone, although neither is certain whether they are simply becoming friends—or quietly planning their first date.
As Kerri and Beth grow closer, teasing conversations and tentative romantic moments force them to confront feelings neither girl is ready to name. Their contrasting personalities draw them together, but uncertainty, mixed signals and the fear of rejection make every step towards intimacy feel risky. What begins as a casual friendship gradually becomes something more meaningful, leaving them to decide whether they are brave enough to be honest with each other.
Tender, intimate and emotionally authentic, Lost & Found You is an 80-minute LGBTQ+ coming-of-age romance capturing the nervous excitement of young love. Centred on naturalistic performances and relatable characters, the film explores first attraction, vulnerability and the delicate moment when friendship begins to transform into a relationship.
